CURATION & EXHIBITIONS
I have no
formal training in arts management or museum studies, and I have never worked
for an art gallery. But in almost eight years of running Paris Collage
Collective [since 2018] on a / no budget, I learned quite a bit about many
things, including (self) publishing, organising open calls, curation, and
organising exhibitions.
I like the mix of creative, administrative and logistic tasks, and the practical work and social contacts this kind of work provides are a great counterbalance to the relative solitude of working as an artist.
If you need help with curatorial projects – that’s what it’s called on LinkedIn apparently – please get in touch here [hello-at-petrazehner-dot-com]
A list of events I participated in or organized can be found here.
